Ribble Valley Borough Council is now working with a local home improvement agengy, Homewise to ensure that homes in the Ribble Valley are toasty & energy efficient this winter. There are a number of measures to enable this, including insulation, draught proofing, central heating and associated water heating, boiler replacement & installation of solar panels. In order to help with this, there is assistance in accessing grants & subsidies.
Hoemwise in an independent home improvement agency who can provide comprehensive, impartial advice on all aspects of home improvement, adaptations, repairs & maintenance, particularly for older, disabled & vulnerable households.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits, you may also be entitled to a free first time central heating system, or funding towards cavity wall insulation, loft insulation or a replacement boiler, from the Cosy Homes in Lancashire scheme.
